8 Ways of How to make the Holiday Season Stress free

It’s the week before Thanksgiving and we are in a panic because, we have to cook three apple pies and 3 vegetable dishes, cook two turkeys, get 20lbs of mashed potatoes ready for dinner at 3 pm, with 20 people coming to the house, and five will be staying with for three days. And to add to all of this, to the every burning fire, you have to work till 4 on the day before Thanksgiving.
That was last week’s problem……..
The Thanksgiving Holiday is finished.
And as you looked at your calendar, the Monday morning after the just passed holiday weekend, you see that you have less than 4 weeks to plan and decide what the Christmas or Hanukkah or other traditions, of the season, plans and events will be the next 3- 4 weeks for this very busy season.
You see the craziness of all that is supposedly expected on social and traditional levels. The expectations of your children, young and old, friends and relatives, and finding the time to do the shopping, the baking and the going to the concerts, and all the activities that the children are involved in, at school, and church, or temple, and the adult parties that can be a bit cumbersome, and expensive.
It can get quite crazy, wild. But does it really have to be this way.. ?
Sometimes making the season simple can be the easiest way for coping with the incredible amount of marketing, and all of its expectations. Making it simple, fun, and creative is what I am feeling. I need to suggest for having the holiday to be something you and all in your life to enjoy the holiday season.
Tradition is a big part of the holiday season, and passing down the traditions of food, social occasions and of adults and children can be hard to keep up.
Of course this is not the way for all of us but those with children, married or single, and wanting to uphold the traditions you choose to share with them, can be rather crazy. Or if you have to cook for a party or lots of people during the day of the holiday, having company during this time, can be a challenging task too.
I asked Archangel Michael and Archangel Raphael, for some ideas on some main points to consider for this holiday season, to possibly make the season go a bit smoother with less stress…..Of course we have the weather to consider too, because inclement weather, can certainly change the plans for our holiday season.
The following are some points to ponder.
- Make lists, of all you need to do. Take out your calendar, put in the kids social events and your events too, with or without your partner, and with friends.. The office parties, the neighborhood gatherings. Then plan out shopping lists, for food and home decorations, in and outdoor.. And delegate, delegate.
- Delegate tasks for home, tasks and include everyone that can help… Taking out the decorations and decorating can be a family activity over a weekend, and the same with cooking… Preparing for the holiday food, can be delegated too, to older children, who can cook or bake, or send them to the store for things you may need for the holiday… Also making homemade decorations for whatever holiday is being celebrated in the home is a good way to include all in helping the holiday be fun..
- Planning a budget so that expenses don’t go to out of control is very important. Sticking to the plan is always a challenge, especially for those that have a kind heart, and want to make everyone happy….
- Making your own holiday cards for those special in your life, can be done for those with older children. Making ornaments are also a fun thing to explore and research… They look great on the tree or in a window, and make great gifts too.
- Ten people are coming to your house on the day of the holiday, and you work or just very busy.. You can ask each person to bring a dish, or dessert for the meal and you cook the turkey, and a dessert or two, Asking others to help is a good way to keep the amount of work down, and can help to keep all calm.. Also make some of the food ahead of time, such as dessert, and some vegetables or casseroles. And ask for help too.
- As for the gifts to be purchased, many buy all through the year, or buy gifts as they travel too.. OR you can make some gifts and start early to begin the projects, or to give to a charity of your choice. There online shopping too and this can take time away from the shopping centers. Make it simple, make it fun..
- I remember days of watching relatives, and myself included of wrapping the day before Christmas, mountains of gifts, sitting in the bedroom away from the family activities all day.. Try wrapping as your purchase the items, or use bags, as this saves time for the laborious task of wrapping the gifts. As others to help too..
- How about the card list in sending cards to friend and relatives, and business associates… Can the list be cut down a bit this year? Do you have to really send cards to those you will be seeing on the holiday or in town?
The holidays are a time of community, and so many of us have this opportunity of being with those we love and cherish. There are many that do not have this and the angels ask us to remember this, and to be kind to those who are with family or who are celebrating alone, for so many reasons, that I don’t need to write about.
I think keeping these people in mind. In giving them a call, or sending a card, saying hello, helping out at a charity or soup kitchen, or just lighting a candle and asking our higher power, to be with them, and to keep them safe for this time, if they do happen to be completely alone..
If appropriate you could ask them to a meal on the day of the holiday or before or after the holiday, just to let them know you are thinking of them.
We also have to respect that some choose to be alone too, and that is ok too.
I believe I have pretty much covered the main things to consider during the holiday coming up.
As light workers, this can be a season of great challenge for the people we work with and on a personal basis.. We need to be sure that we are grounded and protected safely so that we can do the work we share with others, and for ourselves and family, so that we too are able to enjoy the holiday time, if celebrated. Or it’s just a time personal spiritual celebration, of our source.. Having our own traditions and celebrations are to be celebrated too and respecting all ways of others celebrating this season too…
2014 is leaving us and 2015 is quickly coming towards us….
I just want to say that the next month is a time of joy and peace for all and to know, that whatever difficulties maybe come about this time, your angels are with you always Especially, when you ask them for assistance… Asking them for help and trusting they are there for you, will help you to see how much the angels do want to help you today and always..

September’s message from Archangel Michael

This month is the special month commemorating Archangel Michael. The day that he is celebrated is September 29 th. Many traditions call his day Michaelmas or Feast of Archangel Michael. So this month, i will be sharing a channeling from Archangel Michael each week. Next week we will have a new angel that i will share some information about the that angel of the month.
Some very basic facts about Archangel Michael. is that he is the leader of the Archangels, and his name means “Like God” Closest to God. He is known as the angel of safety and protection, and helping you to use you voice in communication, such as speaking your truth and knowing your power, and not helping you to communicate with others effectively and also to help you speak creatively and to sing too .. So he is all about the Throat chakra which as we know is about communication and the color blue is very much his color ray too. So when you meditate or you might be offering an angel reading or any other type of reading, and you may see blue know that Archangel Michael is near, and that he is encouraging you to speak up …. for your self and for others.
and also that he is near you ..ready to help. So if you feel that you aren’t safe for some reason, or scared for some reason whether its fear of doing something new, like a new job or interview, having to speak up , you can ask him to help you at anytime.. And he will be there immediately for you .

I am herng to say that when life gets a bit crazy as it sometimes can, know that taking even a few minutes to just be is something you might want to try. So that you can regain your focus of the day and what is needed to be done during this day.. Being Grateful For All that We Have

We have so much to be grateful for in our lives. I am reminded of this every day of my life. I know that there were times when I may have not felt that way as far as feeling grateful on a daily basis.
Before coming up with the subject of being grateful for all we have, I was looking through Facebook and the post blocks on my page. I came across this page block that said.
“Happiness will never come to those who fail to appreciate what they already have”. Unknown
And so I thought I would write about this concept of being grateful for all that we have, even when we think we don’t have anything, or life is very stressful, and we find it hard to find peace or joy in our life. It is almost as if the stressful feelings which could be frustration, anger, resentment, feeling ignored and feeling worthless, etc., that the last thing we want to think about is being grateful, for all we have in our life. Its like are you kidding me? I have nothing to feel grateful for, so I have no interest in making this grateful list.
And then I hear in my mind, so you didn’t get your own way, so why be grateful? Like the feeling is just so focused on this feeling on the negative feeling we experienced and we are just going sit in that black hole of whatever, u are feeling. So is this a grown up version of a temper tantrum, or pity party of one?
I admit to being regular on the pity party for one circuit at different times , in my life. When I first heard about being grateful for what I have, I was like well I am not where I want to be in my life, for career or for relationship or other relationships or what whatever it was at the time. How can I possibly grateful
I was working with a life coach a few years ago, and it was suggested that I start to write ten things I am grateful for each day. Starting out was a bit hard. The first few days, I was able to think of at 7 things to be grateful for, not 10. I kept that date with myself each night and I found that as I was writing this nightly grateful list, I was writing down things, that we all take for granted. Like a sunny day, a warm day, a rainy day, that was badly needed because there was a drought, food on my table, and for my husband, my parents and siblings and my in-laws. Being grateful for the car, I am able to drive each day, to work, and for the job, I had and for the people that I worked with. For a roof over my head and for clean clothes to wear each day.
As I was writing the list each night, I found I was writing more than ten things I was grateful. I realized that writing this list was helping me to see how the the universe, our Source and higher power was truly there for us. I also found that my apathy of what I thought my life was all about was my limited thinking. I do have a lot to be grateful for and my demeanor, and sense of peace and joy, was beginning to comeback. I stopped comparing myself with others as I had done pretty much always.. I was just so grateful all that was in my life at that time.
I was also becoming more aware of the poverty; mistreatment of people through beliefs and through lack of funds and violence had ruined so many parts of the world, and was continuing to do so.
My grateful list became my mantra and it became my focus point on what the universe has blessed myself and family with. I was finally beginning to understand that it all begins with myself in being grateful for what I have, and to begin this daily grateful list with a feeling of loving and being accepted of who I am and being grateful for all that I have been given from the universe.
When we begin with Self-Love, the love emanates to all who we come into contact with on a daily basis. The grateful list helps us to feel this concept of acceptance and love of who we are.. And whatever was bothering us a few days usually goes away.
Coming to this place of gratitude, helps us to help other in a positive way, for we are all teachers and students on all aspects of our life.
Another way or version of feeling positive about who and what we do is make a habit of writing three things we have accomplished each day. Keeping it all on positive note and going to bed knowing that the day was full of joy and constant place of total gratitude and not in vain.
Taking this time each day, to do write your creative writing, know that the universe is always with you at all times. And lastly that you are truly grateful for all that you have in your life, today.

We get busy with the day to day things, our jobs, our children, whether they are kids or young adults, our relationships an everything else in between, We get caught up in the planning, and dealing with organizations, government regs., paying our bills and dealing with our health, the doctors and everything else in between. We hear about the state of the world or of an incident to that are upsetting and then we see how it is all dragged out day to day on every media channel station that speaks about the state of our world.
I will stop there. I lost my self and forgot I was writing about JOY.
So we forget about our joy, because we are so busy dealing with life… that maybe troublesome or time consuming, and also our daily routine. Life can be crazy, funny, fun, disappointing, tiresome, overwhelming, and boring. We forget about the joy in life, and we forget how to find that joy. And so I asked the universe about joy, particularly some angels who love to talk about JOY…
Ok back to joy… Summer time is good time to talk about JOY, well anytime, I suppose. Do you sometime find that the times we say are going to be joyful; are the most stressful times too? I guess its how you choose to deal with these joyful/ stressful times. Like pre-wedding planning, and the holidays we have at the end of the year, and graduating from college or high School, or any of the other joyful times/ stressful times.
How can we keep these time a bit less stressful?
But that is not what I am particularly talking about. Although it is something to mull over, possibly.
What I am talking about is just going through day to day life, doing all what I wrote about above, but forgetting about the joy, as adults who are making transitions, with family friends and our careers, needs, wants, and day to day worries that keep us from the joy that use to be so easy to feel.
In speaking with friends recently, I mentioned something about forgetting the joy and how we have forgotten that the joy is still there. We just have to embrace it and to access it regularly.
I asked the angels about Joy, which by the way is one, their favorite things to speak about…They have given a few pointers, that I hear a lot, from them and others also. So they have encouraged me to write about how we can access our joy a bit more quickly. Of course they say that being appropriate when accessing the joy is a good idea to take into consideration.
These are some their ideas for us when wanting to invite joy into our lives again, when we have forgotten what it was… so here are some pointer they have shared.
- If life gets so very stressful for you, take that time for you to relax and to take total down time.
- When there are decisions to be made, be sure you have all the facts and then evaluate the pro’s and con’s of the decision
- Talk to the friends that make you laugh
- Do something different, that you would enjoy doing.
- Go outside, go to the beach, to a lake, or pond, or go the mountains or on a hike, embrace the beauty in your surroundings
- See a funny show or movie with friends or close relationship.
- Do fun activities with your kids, or grandkids
- Play board games with friends
- Sing by yourself or with friends and family.
- Giving your worries and stress to the Universe, the Angels too and know that they will help you to feel this joy again..
- Having a sense of humor helps too.
The list could be endless. But taking the time in reading this article, and thinking about JOY, in our lives, is a positive thing to consider. Especially if we forget that we truly deserve joy in our lives. And you know you do deserve to have this joy for yourself, and for your loved ones, even when it seems to impossible to think of this. Bringing the JOY in our lives and thinking of ways we can do this is something to consider. We all deserve this joy, to help with the stress and frustrations of our life.
So in thinking about joy and how to bring more in, I bet we all can come up with some really creative ways, and I am sure you all have some great ideas, for letting the joy, continue in our life.
I keep hearing that life wasn’t’ suppose to be this difficult, that balance of body mind and spirit can certainly help too. So get outside, enjoy the fresh air, and thank the angels, our higher power, friends, and family (those that bring us joy) for being a part of our life, and SMILE…..
